We are going to be working on catching in thew hole, so this drill accomplishes two things depending on what you need to work on. If you tend to catch high this is going to require that you go below parallel two times hitting correct depth. aka clean depth training. Conversely if you are good at catching in the hole below where you normally front squat once you come out of the hole after the initial catch and then descend back down we will see if you are able to go as lower, or lower than your clean receiving position in the hole. Today, and for the most part just today, I'll be using the term "the hole" as meaning below where you normally front squat. Many people notice its harder to stand up a clean than to do a front squat at the same weight, today will help you understand why.
