Build to a heavy, challenging set of 5 push presses and stay there for all 5 working sets. Your working weight shouldn’t lead to failure, but should require 2:00+ of rest.
Lift around 75% or more of your 1-rep max for all 5 sets and rest 2:00-3:00 between sets.
You can choose whether to touch-and-go or stop and reset between each rep depending on what you’re more comfortable with; we’ll go over both options in the warm-up.
