CrossFit ATP is hosting an open community workout put on by a community group. The workout is opened to anyone in the neighborhood that wants to try a special CrossFit class to see what it's all about!

Stimulus Of the Day

Heavy day relative to each athlete's capacity.

Build to a tough 2 reps.

All reps should be touch-and-go; no resting the bar on the floor between reps.

Lift once every 3:00.

Whiteboard Of the Day

Today, we build to a challenging weight for 2 touch-and-go clean and jerks. Once the bar hits the floor, you need to go right into your next rep without resting the bar on the floor between reps.

Everyone should perform a squat clean and split jerk for each rep. Even if you can lift more with a different style, use today to practice these two movements.

The touch-and-go approach will make this harder and won’t allow you to lift as heavy but it will pay off in the long run.

Perform one set every 3:00, allowing at least 2:30 to rest in between each set. Increase the loading and take as much complete rest as possible.

Try to build to around 85% of your 1-rep max.

Strength Of the Day

7 sets for load:
2 clean and jerks
– Lift once every 3:00.
