FRIDAY 04/26/2024

This week, anticipate growth equal to the amount of hard work you are willing to put in. Each workout is a chance to push beyond your limits and become just a little better than you were the day before. Embrace the discomfort, for within it lies the catalyst for progress. Every round, every set, has the potential to improve your own strength and fitness. So, as you step into the gym this week, lean into the opportunity for profound growth, both inside and outside of the gym.

Whiteboard of the Day

Today we have a great workout that tests heavy-lifting capacity under fatigue.

Shoot to get at least 3 deadlifts every round.

Complete the double-unders in 20 seconds or less and then move through the burpees quickly to have at least 15 seconds to accumulate deadlifts each round.

We’ll use the warm-up to find a deadlift load that allows for 5 technically sound unbroken deadlifts for the workout.

Remember that the built-in rest time means every round should be a sprint!

Workout of the Day:

METCON:

7 x 1:00 rounds of:

21 double-unders

7 burpees

Max-reps deadlifts (225/315 lb)

– Rest 2:00 between rounds.
